  1. po line notes

For the PO Line area, I would like to see the Notes. Right now only the Receiving Note and the Note to vendor are visible in Analytics, but I need the Notes cause we have stored a lot of additional information in the Notes

  3. Add Holding Modification Data to Analytics

It would be really great if you would add Holding Creation Date, Holding Modification Date, and Holding Modified By to analytics.

the following fields exist in the “Holding Details” folder of the “Physical Items” subject area and therefore this ideas exchange has been completed:

    “Holdings Record Creation Date”
    “Holdings Record Modification Date”
    “Holdings Record Modified By”

  4. Add Transit Information to Analytics

In order to track materials traveling between libraries, it would be extremely helpful to have transit information such as Transit Date, Transit From, and Transit To included in analytics.

  5. Run a report of items by fund code in Analytics

A colleague wanted to know the usage stats for books he had purchased over a certain period of time. This would have been easiest by running a report including items, his fund code, and the relevant fiscal years. This is currently not possible - Dewey range reports inevitably miss some titles.

Can the Funds Expenditure and Physical Items SAs be made compatible?

  6. Add Storage Location ID to Analytics

The storage location ID field in Alma should be added to Analytics

This seems like an easy add that needs to be done so the field can be reported upon.

  7. Add all CDI-related fields to Analytics

We would like all CDI-related fields (this would include most fields found on the CDI tab of the electronic collection) to be available to the E-Inventory subject in Analytics.

Because many of these fields are only available to the Alma repository search at the collection level, it is impossible to create sets of portfolios that meet certain CDI criteria (e.g., all portfolios whose electronic collection CDI FullText Rights = OpenAccess). Analytics becomes the only option, but none of the CDI fields are available there, either.

  8. Add "Can't edit restricted users" and "Disable all login restrictions" field options to user analytics or staff login report

In order to improve security of our Alma institutions, and better manage named users or staff users, we need to be able to generate a user report that displays permissions related to security such as "Can't edit restricted users" on relevant roles, and "Disable all login restrictions."

Being able to identify which named users have IP restricted login disabled, and which named users have access to editing restricted user groups helps us to be sure that only designated named users have broad access to Alma--we shouldn't have to check this manually, user by user. We should be able to run…

Can’t edit restricted users – indicates if the user can edit restricted user groups
Disable All Login Restrictions – indicates if the user has IP login restrictions disabled

  9. Add Patron Proxy data to Analytics

It is seemingly impossible to query a list of current patron proxy relationships that have been established in Alma. This is a basic piece of reporting data that needs to be added to Analytics to help libraries keep their patron records up to date.

  10. Analytics: Add ability to search/filter by the Holdings record suppression tag

A Suppress from Discovery flag exists for both the Bibliographic and the Holdings record, but only the Bib flag is present in Analytics. This field should be added [and is yet another example of how poorly Analytics handles Holdings data as opposed to Bibliographic or Item data]

    ’Suppressed from discovery"
’Suppressed from discovery by suppressed location"

  12. Mask patron addresses and phone numbers at Institution level

Mask patron addresses and phone numbers at Institution level

Patron addresses and phone numbers are always treated as confidential information and our library would like to take every measure possible to protect privacy of our library users. Currently, Ex Libris has anonymization option for patron addresses and phone numbers only at Network level and not at institution level. We would like Ex Libris to include the option also at institution level.

  15. The LDR of the bib and holdings record needs to be indexed for reporting in Analytics at the very least as a Local Param.

We have a large withdrawal project involving thousands of books. We do not want to delete them in Alma. We want to change the location in the holdings record to Withdrawn, suppress the bib and holdings record, and change the LDR Record Status (5th position) to "d." This is a MARC standard and must be done in order to export these records later to various entities (such as the statewide library database used for ILL) so they can delete them from their copy of our database. The LDR value is what they use to indicate a bib or holding record…

  17. Replacement Costs in Analytics represented as a number

Currently they are represented as text. You have to manipulate the Excel file to get them to become numbers. However, it would be nice if they exported as numbers, or were numbers in Analytics, for easier manipulation of the data.

  18. Correcting Alma Analytics

In Alma Analytics, if you want to get a report of items that their replacement cost is under $50 for example, the program is written in such a way that looks at the costs in decimal order. So your report will include all items that cost $100, $200, $300, $400, etc. as long as the first digit is under 5. So you will end up with wrong results. Please correct this so the program looks at numbers as whole numbers not by decimal order. Thank you.

  19. Put oclc number as the first oclc number in the Network number in analytic reports

When a bib record has 035 and 775 which has an OCLC number, in an analytic report, the 775 number is the first OCLC number in the Network number column. But if a record only has 035 subfield a and z, then the OCLC number for the resource is the first OCLC number in the Network number column.

When we are doing an analytic report retrieving the OCLC number, we are only interested in the OCLC number of the resource, not its the OCLC number of its other edition (755). This confusing order of resource OCLC number makes this Network…

  20. Additional File Format Options for Scheduled Analytics Reports

When setting up a scheduled analytics report there are a couple of file format options: Excel, PDF, text.

The text option is not useful and what we really need is CSV and Tab Delimited options.

I realize you can have it provide Excel and then you can resave it, but that requires extra processing steps that should not be required in this day and age.
