Hide Renew option when Patron Mediated Renewal is Rejected (Borrowing Requests)
We use Alma Resource Sharing and have Primo VE. We want to use the Patron Mediated Renewal workflow for Borrowing requests. This means that users will be able to request Renewal of their interlibrary loans via their My Library Account in Primo.
Whilst testing the workflow we found that when users request a renewal and the partner library rejects the renewal, after notifying the patron via email, the Renew option reappears in My Library Account against the loan. This was confirmed by Ex Libris as expected behaviour in our SalesForce ticket #00827864.

Multiple file upload to single digital resource sharing request (lending)
When digitally shipping uploaded files in resource sharing, allow the upload of multiple pdfs, e.g. when a single request reference is for two ebook chapters. Similar to how you can add multiple barcodes to a single request when sending physical items. Thanks.

Note in pop-up requester card in Borrowing requests
We have certain patrons with special conditions (e.g. they can't use ebooks) that we need to know about when we're putting through Borrowing requests. We keep a record of these in a spreadsheet, but this wastes a lot of time for staff.
I would like to see notes in patron records display in the Requester information pop-up card in Borrowing requests. This will make it a lot easier for staff to manage these requests.

Improved history tab for lending requests to include when a request is attached to a different MMSID
As a result of lending requests sometimes being attached to an incorrect MMSID, with no clear indication as to why or how, we would like to see an enhancement to the lending request history tab to include information when this happens. This is to better analyze future cases where this error occurs.

When sending a file to another library, it should be possible to Preview the file before sending it to ensure better quality control

When Uploading a File, it should be possible to preview the file before clicking on send, to prevent the wrong file from being uploaded.

It should be possible to add a Note at the same time as Uploading a File to a patron. Currently, we have to send a separate Patron Query Template after the link has been sent.

Query to patron letter: add the publication date for Document delivery requests
We’d like to display the publication date in the Query to patron letter also for DD requests. Now we can display the date in the letter only for ILL requests.

Searchable archive of old/completed requests outside active request screen
Too much clutter in active screen. Would be great if this screen only showed new /pending created requests. The facets to the left would then be more meaningful and useful as filters to find specific requests - those sent to partner, those that overdue etc instead of requests with these statuses being presented within the active request mix

LADD (Australian Libraries) resource sharing -- interoperability with Alma (some elements don't work between both systems)
Some LADD notes and actions don't map to visible fields in Alma, therefore we don't receive them.
For example, if a LADD user sends a damaged note this does not come through into Alma via ISO. Is there a way that non-mapped elements can be mapped to the general messages area in Alma, so that they can at least be viewed/received.13 votesHello All,

Alma Resource Sharing - identifying where chapter only (not book) is required
We sometimes receive physical books where only chapters were requested via Resource Sharing as the chapter details requested by us as the Borrower do not appear in the Lenders view (even although they are also an Ex Libris client). This slows down turn around time and adds postage costs where only scans were required.

Display assignee on resource sharing request search results
It would be helpful if the resource sharing request would display in the brief format the name of the staff that the request is currently assigned to. Currently, you have to go into the "History" tab of the request to find this information.
In a different area, "Reading lists", this information is readily available, and it would facilitate the workflow in resource sharing handling, too.

when convert resource sharing request to purchase request - having default settings
Currently when a resource sharing request is changed to a purchase request our doc del team have to change the same settings everytime. It would be better if we could set defaults on this process, so this team doesn't have to keep changing the same settings.

Add DOI to email sent to resource sharing partner
Currently if a DOI is added to a request it isn't included in the email request sent to an email resource sharing partner. The DOI could help identify the correct article more quickly - seems strange that this is not included already

Prevent hold requests for users not eligible for Resource Sharing from being converted into Resource Sharing requests
When you convert a hold request into a resource sharing request, Alma does not check the resource sharing library's borrowing resource sharing fulfillment unit rules to make sure the user is allowed to submit resource sharing requests. This makes it possible to create resource sharing requests for users who do not have resource sharing privileges. When converting a hold request into a resource sharing request, Alma should check the check the borrowing resource sharing fulfillment unit rules. If the user is not allowed to submit resource sharing requests, a warning message should appear.

All RS requests appear in Patron Services as Physical
Resource Sharing requests appear in "Patron Services" with one Request Type: "Patron physical item request". However, in "Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests" there are two types of Requested Format: Physical or Digital. Both types should appear correctly under Patron Services, and not only Physical.

Allow for multi field searching in Borrowing Requests or a Keyword search that allows you to search patron and request details
To find a resource sharing request more easily allow searches to be across multiple fields. e.g Robertson cancer nursing. Searching Robertson as the patron and cancer nursing as keywords in the title.

RS-Enable shipped items to remain managed with their original TOU in order to allow requests to be done with the TOU of the permanent loc.
In some cases, requests for items under a Resource Sharing library are cancelled as their terms of use are not taken from their permanent locations. It should be possible to have shipped items remain managed by their original TOU in order to allow requests to be done with the TOU of the permanent location.

Enable a user to upload a snip or screenshot to the resource sharing request form
When placing a resource sharing request, our users sometimes wish to attach a screenshot or snip to give us additional information about their requested item. Could this ability be added to the resource sharing form please.
