    I am a student worker and I support this idea. Sometimes I misread the due date when telling a patron. This is always followed by, "Wait. Never mind. It is actually [x]. Sorry, it displays in military time," once I realize the loan period I gave was too long based on the item. Having a standard time option would just make it easier.
