This is partially supported. Could you share more details about this idea. We currently have functionality like this. If you view any profile we will display funding recommendations based on the aggregate profile for the person’s department. But this is at a department level – not institute or center.

Having over 50 groups, interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, Centers and Institutes, I established each as a PIVOT Managed Group, set up search criteria based on the group's function and/or interest (not group member's profiles which range from 2 to over 100), save, curate, and disseminate relevant opps easily.
This also makes managing group membership very easy to update as faculty join or leave a group.
