    Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) publishes sixteen open-access peer reviewed scientific journals. Eight of them are in the field of physical and technology sciences, five in the social sciences, and three are multidisciplinary. The VILNIUS TECH research journals are indexed in various databases. Ten journals are indexed in Web of Science, seven of them has Journal Impact Factor (JIF) and three are included in Web of Science: Emerging Sources Citation Index. Thirteen journals are indexed in the SCOPUS database.
    VILNIUS TECH use Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. It is an open source software application for managing and publishing scholarly journals. Some journals implement peer review processes using the ScholarOne Manuscripts platform. In the process of scholarly publishing, VILNIUS TECH applies the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing of the Committee on Publication Etic (COPE). The University is proud that VILNIUS TECH journals are a members of COPE. VILNIUS TECH supports open access and makes all published articles freely available and reusable. From 2018 all articles are published under the CC-BY 4.0 licence. VILNIUS TECH deposits the articles that it publishes in digital archives Portico, CLOCKSS, and LOCKSS to guarantee long-term digital preservation.
