    Alma Digital (soon to become Alma Specto) provides multiple methods for managing book covers or other digital material which are complementary to the print.

    1. Auxiliary representations. These won’t be indexed in Primo as online services, since they don’t represent the complete content of the record. Using the display logic rules, users can define whether they will be displayed via the quick access service or online section in Primo/
    2. Other representation types – You can deactivate the representation, in which case it won’t be indexed or appear in Primo, however a thumbnail will be generated using the file.

    I hope ExLibris offer a solution for this issue. Many old editions, foreign language titles and small presses don't have book covers available through PRIMO. It makes any Discovery Collection sort of drab compare with other collections that use current English language books.
