searching subcollections
Searching in Primo within a subcollection from Alma Digital does not work. When visiting a subcollection page, and a page with multiple subcollections and using the search bar at the top, you get zero results. There is a message underneath saying, "Didn't find what you were looking for?
Try searching all collections" which has a hyperlink. Once you click on "try searching all collections", it works.1 vote -

Highlight OCR text within image in Viewer, not just in full text field
Digital representations seen in the Alma-D Viewer, accessed through Primo, are often PDFs with OCRed text. These items have a "Full Text" field with this text displayed with the item's metadata in the side pane, and using a browser's "CTR+F" function will highlight results for a searched word, but this functionality would be helpful if it also extended to highlighting the word in the image as well. In dense newspapers, for example, the user may find the needed word in the block of full text, but he would then need to examine the image carefully to track down the instance…

Internet Archive Book Reader
The Internet Archive Book Reader viewer configured to flip pages left-to-right unless value coded in 008 pos 35-37 (language) is taken from a close list of languages (as documented: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/010Alma_Online_Help_(English)/030Fulfillment/080Configuring_Fulfillment/090Discovery_Interface_Display_Logic/040Digital_Services)
In cases of visual materials such as photographs, the code of 008/35-37 would be zxx (which means: No linguistic content). The value zxx does not appear in the Right to Left list of languages, therefore the viewer would flip Left to Right.
However, there are cases (such as photo albums) where the object should flip Right to Left.

On Top Level Collections list, change "created" date to "updated" date
Please change the Resource Mangement-->Manage Collections-->Top Level Collection menu to swap out "create date" to "last update" or similar. It's important to know which collections haven't been updated. It's only 'nice' to know the create date.'

Link search results for full text to the digital representation instead of the title
One of the selling points of Primo VE is that full text from digital representations (Alma-D) is indexed automatically. When a user performs a search wherein full text is found, they can click on the brief result to go to the full display, then click on the digital representation to open the file in the viewer.
This works well for titles with only one digital representation and file. If you search our catalog for the keywords feeder is also designed as a feeder, you will see an ESL Pamphlet about the Black River Canal as the first result. When you…

Allow for separate top level collections in Alma-D
There needs to be the option for separate collections in Alma-D. For example, we are using Alma-D for both archival collections and CDL textbook collections. I would like, in Primo, to have them separate as they are two very different collections, but because everything is added as a top collection they are all lumped together.

Display access rights' copyright statement when editing a representation
Optionally an access right policy in Alma can have a copyright statement associated with it.
When editing a representation in Alma, the existence of the copyright statement is not displayed to the user. The user can enter another copyright statement for the representation which overrides the one associated with the access rights policy.
I would expect that the copyright statement should at minimum, be displayed to the user so they do not have to guess if this is an access rights policy where they must also assign a copyright statement.
I had expected that it would show in the copyrights…

Make Public Note of a Representation Translatable
The public note of a representation is not translatable. This would be useful for following use cases:
- The library wants to offer high-resolution digital reproductions of individual files from representations on demand.
- The library wants to comment on the quality of files from a representations (eg. not OCRed).
- The library wants to inform, that the digital files does not contain complete content, etc.
By now following components in relation with digital content are translatable :
- Collection name and description
- Copyright declarations
- The denied note in the access right policy
It would offer a more streamline experience to discover digital content,…

Publish Alma-D to Google Scholar
By now it is not possible to publish Alma-D (Bib/Representation/File) to google scholar. There should be an option to publish Alma-D to google scholar at least on a set- or collection level.

Reverse sort order option in ALMA for Digital Representation list displayed in Primo for a Bibliographic record
If you attach several Digital Representations to one bibliographic record in ALMA, and each representation has one file attached, then all those Digital Representations (with their file) will be displayed in the U-Resolver display in Primo for the bibliographic record.
In this scenario, there is currently no way in ALMA to alter the sort order of how the Digital Representations display in Primo. The default is alphabetical order, or numeric order. It would be useful to be able to choose reverse alphabetical or numeric order. This would allow a scenario where the year could be placed at the start of…19 votes
