  1. Recommendation profile rule - citation match?

When creating recommendation profiles, it would be useful if a rule could be added regarding citation matches, in order to reduce number of results to only those that relate to Leganto/alma citations. (i.e. in order to look for new editions for reading list material - new editions for held titles gives a large amount of results - if we could add an additional rule, that reduced results to those matching with matching titles to alma citations, this would be helpful).

  2. "Originating system" field in import profiles

Before using Rialto, when a bibliographic record was created by a purchase request, the "Originating system" field in the bibliographic record was our institution code. However, since we use Rialto, when a bibliographic record is created by a purchase request, the value of the field "Originating system" is "Other".

It would be useful that in the import profile for Rialto orders, the value of the "Originating system" field could also be the institution code. So, you could use the institution code to manage bibliographic records created in your institution (before and after Rialto).

  3. Additional CDI Information at point of order

Please create an indicator / icon on what level the item is indexed within CDI when ordering. it would be useful to know if a provider is adding their chapter-level metadata to the CDI index and which ones are not. This would drive which platform we would purchase from.

  4. Added detail to badges

We sometimes see the badge "in your institution" for an item in the marketplace, but when looking at the detailed holdings information, it's actually a different edition or format. It would be helpful to have an alternate badge in those cases: something like "in your institution- mismatched ISBN", "in your institution- alternate edition", or "in your institution- alternate format". This way, we could tell at a glance whether we owned the exact edition or format we're looking to purchase.

  5. Improved list functionality

We don't have selectors, but do have several librarians that send us curated recommendations for purchase. Because of this, we use lists to share items recommended for purchase instead of carts. As our list of lists grows, it would be helpful to be able to organize lists into folders to keep them better organized. It would also be helpful to be notified of updates to shared lists. Updates any time an item was added would be cumbersome, so the optimal solution would be to add a "send list" button that would alert a chosen Rialto user that a shared list…
