Need NIH NOSIs included in Pivot
Please find a way to include NIH Notices of Special Interest (NOSIs). These are becoming more and more critical because NIH is phasing out Program Announcements and replacing them with NOSIs. Major funding announcements are not being picked up by Pivot. For example, this urgent NOSI related to the coronavirus: https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-AI-20-030.html. Researchers will get very annoyed if these are not included in Pivot and will have to go directly to NIH to set up separate email alerts. It makes it more difficult for me to market Pivot to encourage them to use it if it’s not picking up these major opportunities. I see this as critical for my institution, I wonder if others feel the same way.

I think it is very important that the NOSIs be reflected in the system, given NIH's movement toward using them. Not integrating into the database, and forcing folks to go to other sources to get this information, is not an encouragement to use of PIvot.

It is critically important that PIVOT include NIH's Notices of Special Interest (NOSI's) in the funding opportunities database.
These NOSI's are extremely important funding opportunity announcements.
The NOSI's are the new equivalent to the non-parent Program Announcements (PA’s) that were previously included in PIVOT.
These non-parent PA's, which were previously issued by the individual NIH Institutes, are now being discontinued.
There are currently 153 NOSI’s listed in the NIH Guide.
They are not in PIVOT.
If these NOSI's are not included in PIVOT, PIVOT will be of less value to the biomedical research community when trying to identify funding opportunities.
Since more and more of NIH's funding opportunities are being announced via NOSI's, the usefulness of PIVOT to the biomedical research community will continue to decrease.
