Make it faster
For something that it paid for, my RefWorks is always moving REAL slow compared to other paid reference managers I've used (mainly EndNote). RefWorks seems to have trouble handling the 2,000+ references I've accumulated (and continue to accumulate) over my career.

Make it works
There are many potential improvements related with notes, how to find words, etc. But I would be happy if, at least, the poor functionalities that it has, could work properly.

Improving Annotations on iPad
Please include the selecting text and highlighting feature when I use RefWorks on iPad. Currently, there is no way to add comments or highlights for RefWorks on Safari - Ipad.

I just realised that RW puts pp. in front of an article number. As far as I know this is not correct.

Improvement of Citation in Arabic
We use APA Style 6 for our research
The Citation in Arabic does not appear correct in Arabic. It is required that only the last name and year are included, but here the full name is included in the citation, but the list of references in Arabic appears well and this applies to references entered manually or downloaded from databases. Being able to export folder information with a reference.
I would like to be able to see in which folder(s) a certain citation is once i have exported it for example to a .csv file.

Include a backup and restore system in the new Refworks version
I think it is important to incorporate into the Refworks application, a utility for backing up and restoring both bibliographic references, as well as the structure of folders, labels, shared items, etc.
20 votesAll RefWorks data is backed up for 30 days and can be restored in that time frame by the RefWorks support team.

Fix downloading of attached files
I can't download attachments from my Refworks library. I can't get in touch with support either. I would not recommend RefWorks to anybody.

Migrate non-institutional users to new platform
I created my initial refworks account after I filed my dissertation and was granted a "lifetime" account that is independent of an institution. I would like to migrate to new refworks, but there is not currently support for this type of user -- non-institutional accounts -- to upgrade. Could you please allow us to migrate to new refworks?

Italic function isn't working
Hi there, for some reason or another, whenever I insert a footnote (in English or in Dutch) the title of the refference doesn't come out in italic. I also am unable to edit this from withing Word. I've tried switching between various citation styles to see if that would fix it, but the issue endures. Could this please be fixed? Thank you kindly.

Folders
Creating, accessing and reallocating Folders and Subfolders is VERY problematic and frustrating, to say the least!
Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Then when you finally organized your subfolders, and ready to import another citation, your subfolders are no longer there!I've about had it with trying.

APA references for journal articles need correct formatting
It has been brought to my attention when I submit papers using RefWorks APA style that the references for journal articles are incorrect. The title is italicized, the name of the journal is not there but instead the publisher information is there. There is no volume number, issue number, or page number. I am not going to continue to use RefWorks because I do not trust the quality of the citations. I am spending a lot of time correcting it that I will create the reference myself.
