ACM Digital library with ejournals, proceedings, & newsletters
We created this Selective Package collection to represent these journal titles. ACM has recently made some changes in Summer of 2020 that caused the old links to no longer work. My request is that you would look into creating a Journal - Selective Package collection with links to the Archive section of the site. Meanwhile, I have corrected my links so they work.

Bloomsbury Collections: Update target for all titles
The current Intota target for Bloomsbury Collections: All Titles has only 10,000 titles, but the publisher indicates there should be another 4,000, and they have started an EBA program which will increase demand for this target.
3 votesHello,
This request should be processed via a Support Case, where our analysts can investigate the source of this discrepancy.

https://www.ebsco.com/products/magazine-archives/ebony-magazine-archive
1 voteHello,
Following a discussion with EBSCO, we have received the below information from them regarding this request:
---
I'd like to inform you that the collections provided are not databases due to which we are unable to provide title lists for these collections. These collections are available as packages in the Holdings Management knowledge base.
The customers can log in to their EBSCO admin account and download the title list for these collections by following the steps provided in the below FAQ.
https://connect.ebsco.com/s/article/Holdings-Management-Downloading-Your-Holdings
The title lists in the Holdings Management tab can only be downloaded if the packages are selected in their holdings. Also, the title list can be downloaded in KBART format from Holdings Management.

Ensuring Journal Titles are displayed in correct case in Primo
Generally journal titles tend to be displayed in sentence case rather than headline case. Is there any setting we can do in Primo to ensure that Journal Titles are displayed in the correct case?
This creates problems when the records are exported to EndNote via .ris file export. Is there any setting we can do in Primo to ensure that Journal Titles are displayed in the correct case?
According to ExLIBRIS, the journal title (JF tag) is taken from the PNX addata/jtitle. If this field is written in lower case, the journal title will be exported the same. For CDI…1 voteHello,

PCI / CDI: Please make sure that Open Access archives are really OA
In Primo Central Index / Central Discovery Index, some archives are incorrectly referred to as Open Access.
Please check the availability of documents in Open Access archives with "Link in record". If these archives sometimes also contain blocked documents or only title pages, tables of contents or abstracts, please split these archives into several collections, e.g. Open Access and Restricted Access.
Records which link only to title pages, tables of contents or abstracts should not appear in Open Access collections with "Link in record".
Example:
Open Access LMU (https://epub.ub.uni-muenchen.de)
Auf "Open Access LMU" finden Sie 64725 verzeichnete Publikationen…119 votesHello,
We are familiar with the nature of such collections which had previously been identified as fully Open Access, but in fact contain a majority of titles that are not freely available.
In order to address this we are reviewing our content to update such collections and re-classify them as “Partially Open Access” for better accuracy, based on the majority of the content within each collection.
If you encounter such a collection which you would like us to consider for re-assessment, please submit a Support Case so that we can analyze the request and process it.
In some cases we may encourage the community to discuss this matter with the content provider directly so that they can update their offerings and possibly generate two separate title lists to distinguish between their Open Access and paid content. We have already processed the request for the example provided (Open Access LMU),…

Bloomsbury Collections: frontlist choices
The current target for Bloomsbury Collections (Intota) is for the full platform and is the only Bloomsbury target that includes frontlist updates. However, we need targets at the subject level that get updated regularly for frontlist content. Waiting until the imprint year is over before loading the subject-level data is not helpful.
3 votesHello,
We work closely with Bloomsbury to ensure that their collections are represented in our Knowledgebases, including subject-level collections.
If there are specific missing collections, please indicate those so that we can discuss this with the provider directly and address the missing collections.
Thank you,
Rael

Enable the addition of an "institutionId" parameter to the service for CREDOreference Academic Core Backfile
Without the additional "institutionId" parameter, if signing in using SAML or OpenAthens the link generated by the parser does not know the institution you have linked from. You will be challenged to select institution and then taken to the sign in page. Once this is resolved you are taken to the Credo Reference homepage as it has forgotten the original linking parameter. This is resolved by adding the parameter ?institutionId=1234 (where 1234 is your institution ID).
Please add the institionId as an optional parameter that is added to the url that is generated by the parser.1 voteHello,
Please submit this request as a support case so that our team can address this linking change request directly.

Add a metadata correction layer for PCI
Many times when we found wrong metadata in PCI and reported to Ex Libris for correction, it took them a long time to contact the data vendors to make the corrections. Sometimes they never can get response or correction from the vendors, and the wrong metadata stayed in PCI without any changes. The wrong metadata is really misleading and cannot generate the correct OpenURLs for users to reach the full text articles. I would suggest Ex Libris to build an internal metadata correction layer for the PCI data to improve its quality. With this layer, even the vendors don't correct…
247 votesHello,
Following reviews and discussion with our Primo product colleagues, we will not move forward with this request.
With the shift to CDI we will be addressing all relevant changes on CDI, but also for CDI we will not be currently creating a “metadata correction layer”.
All metadata corrections are performed centrally by our Content Operations team.Thank you for your contribution.

Add "subscribe by email" and other ways to monitor CKB release notes
It is crucial for us to monitor CKB release notes to ensure that collection activations are appropriately revised in response to changes. At present, the only way to monitor the notes is by RSS feed, which is cumbersome -- it is very easy to miss changes with only RSS feed updates. Please add other means of monitoring these changes, such as subscribing to the release notes by email.

Thank you for this suggestion.
I will forward this request to our IT group to see if it is possible to add this functionality to the Knowledge Center platform. We cannot track this request here, so I am closing this out.
