Your feedback matters to us. Help us to extend our discovery indexes, KnowledgeBases and Community Zone by telling us what collections and data you’d like to see us add, using the message areas below. You can also support something already posted.
If you are suggesting new content for Discovery that is not yet in the Knowledgebase you do not need to submit two entries (one for Discovery and one for Knowledgebase)
Specifically you can suggest:
• New collections for Discovery (Primo Central and Summon)
• New collections for the Knowledgebase (Alma CZ, SFX KB and 360 KB)
• New authority files to be added to the Community Zone
• Enrichment of Community Zone bibliographic records for certain collections

We would love to be able to respond to every idea that is submitted, but this is not feasible. We are, however, committed to responding to the most popular ideas—those that have received the most points.
For more information please review our FAQ and guidelines. Thank you.

How can we improve Content?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. French MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) vocabulary implementation

As a scientific librarian in a French-speaking university hospital in Switzerland, I would like to have the opportunity for our library users to search also with French medical subject headings.

The NLM (National Library of Medicine) MeSH vocabulary https://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/ is already implemented in Alma but Inserm (Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale) https://www.inserm.fr/ did its translation http://mesh.inserm.fr/FrenchMesh/ and is available for download here http://mesh.inserm.fr/FrenchMesh/conditions_en.htm

The implementation of French MeSH would be very useful for users to search with controlled terms in their own language and / or for library professionals to set cross-references between French and…

      • Sage Shallow Backfile Package (2017)

Please add this package ASAP. We have been waiting well over a year for this collection of 700+ portfolios to be added to the CZ. In a large consortial environment we rely on CZ records to maintain accurate linking.

        • Web of Science data request for Summon index

We have recently had students using Summon notice that the latest records for the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy (one of our most important resources) were not available in Summon. We have some content in Summon now but are still missing the earliest 2018 issue.

Can Ex-Libris please approach Web of Science about receiving metadata directly from them, which would speed up the process of WoS resources being retrievable in Summon?

If you support this request please give it some votes. Thank you.

            • update EBSCO CINAHL title lists in Central KnowledgeBase

The current CINAHL title lists in the CKB do not reflect changes that have taken place over the last year.

              • Title: International coaching psychology review (1750-2764); Publisher: The British Psychological Society

Currently the articles for this journal are not indexed in Summon.
In Serials Solutions it is listed only in Ebsco databases at the moment and not in the publisher's database (British Psychologyical Society). Ebsco are not providing the required records. Can you source the content metadata, perhaps from the publisher, so that the articles can be searched in Summon, please?

                • Could we add Art & Architecture Thesaurus Online. http://www.getty.edu/research/tools/vocabularies/aat/

It would be great to add the AAT vocabularies to the CZ to enhance and enrich records for and about artistic endeavour.

                  • Add Agrovoc thesaurus to authority files

Add Agrovoc multilingual thesaurus from FAO to CZ authority files
                    http://aims.fao.org/vest-registry/vocabularies/agrovoc-multilingual-agricultural-thesaurus
Alma multinlingual thesaurus search and publishing should permit to select languages among all the thesaurus languages.
