← Have an idea for Ex Libris?

We are looking for new content to add to the Knowledgebases (KBs - Alma CZ, SFX, 360) and Discovery services (Central Discovery Index whose data supports Primo and Summon).
Please post your idea to add missing content to our products!

Want to increase your idea's visibility and get more votes?
Make sure that you:
  1. Look for an existing idea for your content request and vote for it before posting a new idea
  2. Choose the right category of content (details below)
  3. Add a direct link to the provider/resource you suggest, and a contact person if possible
  4. For enrichment requests add collection ID(s)
  5. Make sure you mention any specific added value your idea has to the community such as language or supporting diversity.
  6. Errors in an existing collection? please open a case
  7. A new year has begun but no corresponding annual collection? Please open a case
The categories for new content ideas are:
  1. New collection for Alma CZ/SFX/360 (title level – book, journals, videos, etc.; not suitable for more granular level metadata) 
  2. New collection for Discovery only (already in KBs with any level metadata granular than title such as article, book chapter etc.)
  3. New collection for KBs + Discovery 
  4. New CZ authority file
  5. New CZ enrichment of bib records
  6. New CDI enrichment of article/book chapter records (such as peer review or open access indicators, ORCiD IDs)

How can we improve Content?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
