  1. Database order in 360 Link and EJP: Make it possible to upload changes in a file

In the 360 Link Admin Console it’s possible to change the order in which databases er shown in the Sidebar Helper frame, the 360 Link results page, and the E-Journal Portal results page. As it is you can change the order by moving one database at a time on the list (either by dragging the database to a new position on the list or by changing the number the database has on the list. We would like it to be possible to download the list of databases in a file, make the changes in a spreadsheet and upload it. At…

  2. Show whether "We only subscribe to some titles" is an option.

When you search a title and need to choose a database to subscribe in, it is not clear until you subscribe to the database whether "We only subscribe to some titles" is an option. It would be great if we could see in advance whether we are going to be able to select that option before subscribing to that database, either in the list of database options or in the database details. This would prevent a lot of extra clicking and frustration.

  3. Provide an overall percentage of MARC record availability at the database level.

Currently one can examine a few specific journals or books within a collection to determine if CONSER or other MARC records are available for a collection. This can be hit or miss. It would be great to see an overall percentage of MARC record availability at the database level as we do with the percentage of Summon coverage.

  4. Name and e-mail should be mandatory on the Interlibrary Loan Request form

It's possible to make an Interlibrary Loan Request on No Result Page without filling in the fields Name and E-mail in the form. This means that some request are anonymous which is of course not desirable.

A properly formatted email address is required for the ILL form as of the August 2021 release.

  5. Intota Consortium Sharing: “Terms of use” should be shown in EJP on “From Consortium titles”

When you share a database and a license belonging to the database with a “child instance” then “Terms of use” are only shown in the eJournal Potal belong to the “parent instance”. As terms of use is as relevant to the users at the “child institution” as to the users at the “parent institution” this information should be inherited.

  6. Allow for the ordering of EJP results

We'd like to be able to decide how results should show up in the Journals search: a specific example (see attached image) would be if you are searching on "nature", then the journals with "nature" in the real title (as opposed to the Alternate Title) would rise to the top. Right now they come back in alphabetical order and we feel this is counterintuitive - more helpful would be how results in most other places come back, with relevancy rankings incorporated.

Please note: We know that you can remove alternate titles in the search results, but we'd like to retain…

  7. Make View Changes in Client Center Exportable

We'd really appreciate if the View Changes in Client Center had an exportable format, such as Excel.

  8. EJP: Limit autocomplete suggestions to subscribed resources

In the eJournal Portal you can activate autocomplete to get suggestions for journal titles based on what the end-user begins to type in the search-box.

We find this useful. However, as it is ALL Knowledgebase titles can display via the Autocomplete feature. Both title we subscribe to and titles that are not tracked. This means that the end-user will often get suggestions that gives 0 results. We would therefore like to be able to select that the autocomplete feature only suggests journals that we subscribe to.
