Support Local Resource Types in Library Search faceting
Provide the option to include Local Resource Types in Leganto’s Library Search facets.
We have created Alma Local Resource Types for use in Primo. However, those resource types are not reflected in Leganto’s Library Search resource type facets. As a result users have no way to limit by those local resource types.
For example, we have created a local resource type printbook, and all remaining ebook items that don’t fit the local printbook criteria remain in the default book facet. Leganto users can limit by the default “Book” resource type which actually contains our ebooks, but cannot limit by our “Print book” local resource type, so they have no way to filter to just physical book materials.
The limited resource type faceting results in a reduceduser experience for faculty using the library search in Leganto.
