Preferred language set for both Alma and Leganto
Leganto is a patron-facing system and is translated to several different languages. Alma is a back-office system for librarians and are not translated as such.
In Leganto you can select the interface language. This changes the preferred language setting on the user-profile in Alma as well. We can see the change in the history-tab on the user-profile.
The issue is that if the language is set to a language other than english, parts of Alma displays translated values (I assume values that are used in patron facing elements) while other parts are not translated. E.g. a mix of Norwegian and english labels inside Alma This causes issues/confusion for the library staff, especially those who operates the library desk in the library meeting the patrons.
There is a need to be able to have one language preference for Leganto and a different for Alma.
Is it possible to add support for this into the system?
