Configuration - Disable file upload in reading lists
Institutions should be left the choice to deal with - or not - copyright issues regarding uploaded materials.
The possibility to upload materials to reading lists in Leganto should be a configuration parameter, allowing libraries to switch it on or off.
Uploading files to "My Collection" is of course not problematic.

You can set the max_file_size_allowed_faculty_MB to 0.

You can set the max. file size to 0 but if you edit the item, it still looks as though you can add a file. You will just get an error message but editors may just try it a few times and then leave, frustrated. It would be better if this could be removed completely.

It is possible to disable upload but the feature still looks as if it is available. I second this request and will put votes toward it. If a library chooses to switch it off, the upload option needs to go away or appear in a modified format that so that it doesn't look available.

Hi Emmanuelle. It's possible to disable the file upload option for instructors by amending the maximum file upload size parameter (max_file_size_allowed_faculty_MB) to zero (details here: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Leganto/Product_Documentation/Leganto_Administration_Guide/Configuring_Leganto_UI_Elements/05_Configuring_Leganto_UI_Elements#Configuring_File_Upload_in_Leganto)
