Attendance UI Improvements

This ticket was created to merge several different ideas into one, as they all were about improving the UI of the Attendance screens:

  1. Absence button appears in bright red, even after customers have set other colours for student logged absence and lecturer logged absence.

  2. Increasing the size of the one-time check-in code font when displayed to lecturers.

  3. Ability to have a message or animation display to student end users once they have successfully checked-in to all events on a given day.

  4. Add the student's check-in timestamp in the page where the Lecturer Check-In Page where they can see who is present/absent.

  5. In lecturer check-in, when the lecturer selects a reason why the student isn't in the session it says 'Lecturer Logged Absence', when showing the actual reason selected would be less confusing.

    From student end user feedback: ability to have a message or animation display to student end users once they have successfully checked-in to all events on a given day. The feedback suggests this would be a fun addition that might provide 'the tiniest bit of motivation for people to attend more lectures'.

    This continues to be an accessibility issue for some of our staff users. The Apple two fingered magnification gesture is not supported in the app either, so please could this be considered.

    In lecturer check-in, when the lecturer selects a reason why the student isn't in the session it says 'Lecturer Logged Absence' and doesn't show the actual reason (student ill etc), which means lecturers are unsure they chose the right one and double check.

    Show the actual logged reason selected!

    We have received feedback from both students and lecturers to say that the iSheffield check in code is rather small, especially when viewed on a mobile phone, so we would like to suggest either increasing the size of the check-in code font when displayed, or to introduce the ability for users to change the font size themselves.

    Instructors are requesting visibility into additional information within the check-in history window. The main request is to add the student's check-in timestamp in the page where the Lecturer Check-In Page where they can see who is present/absent.

    Although colours are customisable in some areas they do not flow through in all areas, which affect ability to use colours that could clash.

    It is such a strong colour and unchangeable in settings, so it dictates and limits the rest of the colour scheme applied. Ie. we must design around it. See eg of what cannot be a scheme.
