Support MODS for remote digital repository
While Alma itself supports MODS as a metadata scheme, MODS is not supported as metadata import format for remote repositories.
We need to see this support before we can add remote digital content to Alma collections, as the current option of importing DC is too poor.14 votesAs of February 2024, Alma supports OAI-PMH harvest of MODS repositories.

Alma –D display copyrights by default – Users are confused on what to do next – possible solution
Displaying the copyright notice by default for Alma D records is a good step forward.
But we have found our users are a bit confused on what they should do next when they see the notice.
We would suggest the following would help:
Move the ‘Close “option to the top of the screen (users don’t always move down the screen)
Change the word from “Close” to “Accept”. This makes it a bit more obvious for our users on what to do next.

Allow MARC21 for Enduser Deposit Profiles
By now, deposit profiles only support Dublin Core. In order to be congruent with existing MARC21 meta-data, deposit profiles should also support MARC21.

Translations of Collection Name and Description (Alma-D)
The translations of collection name and title is not possible. For multilingual Primo sites this is not satisfying, since all content can be displayed in the according language, but the collection lobby with its collection names and descriptions not.

Universal Viewer: Hard Coded 'Attribution - All Rights Reserved'
The Universal Viewer for Alma-D images has a hard coded 'Attribution - All Rights Reserved' statement that appears for each image the universal viewer is configured.
The Attribution statement should only appear for those representations, a copyright statement is defined.7 votes -
MARC21 to OAI Dublin Core crosswalk
we would like to have the possibility to customize the OAI DC output, making several changes in the mapping that makes the transformation from MARC21 to OAI Dublin Core.
For example being able to add some fields or exclude others. we attached an example of our customization.

Allow Repeatable Fields in Add Representation Form in Alma
Allow repeatable fields in Add Representation Form in Alma. An article often contain two or more authors. This feature will allow staff who do not know MARC to input contributors into the form.

Watermarking function at the viewer display level
Please provide an alternative approaches for controlling the content of images displayed to users, eg watermarking. (SF823991) It would be great if there is an option like floating a seleted(uploaded) watermark without changing the digital file itself.

Please develop a function to download all digital files of a digital title set I created.
Please develop a function to download all digital files of a digital title set I created. Now I can download files one by one on the file list tab or access my bucket via a third party program and download only the files of a specific representation that I know the storage path. It's impossible to download hundreds of files in that way when there are other institutions' requests.

Add Digital Representation ID as a search option in the Digital Resource Editor
From the Digital Resource Editor currently you can only search via the label. Addition of option to search for on the Digital Rep ID should also be supported this would make it much easier to find a specific digital rep record when you have large nos associated to one Bib Record.
