The new Alma layout provides this functionality. For example: search: Physical Holdings -->the cursor stays at the search box. Same works for Borrowing /Lending Requests search, Order lines search (when the new layout is turned-on) and all other areas moved to the new layout. Note that there’s a keyboard shortcut (/) to focus on the search, which works for all search-mode (current interface and new layout)

An error occurred while saving the comment Manu Schwendener commented>> 'ctrl+click'
> This was fixed in the latest February 2019 release.Primo VE:
Works on Windows PC as you describe. On my Mac Laptop, "cmd&enter" doesn't work. Which
a) is what I usually use for 'open in new tab'
b) works fine for the links in the main menu"ctrl&enter" opens the list where I then have to choose 'Open in New Tab'.
Chrome and Firefox.

An error occurred while saving the comment Manu Schwendener commented> User Roles ... include ... the ACTIVE (Y/N) option
This is possible by now:
- via the settings/cogwheel icon you can select the fields
- at export you can choose between 'current view' and 'all fields' -

An error occurred while saving the comment Manu Schwendener commented> suppress them from view altogether
You can do that by now in Primo VE (via Alma):
- Configure Views
- Edit a view
- Tab 'General'
- Uncheck 'Highlight reference entry on top' -

An error occurred while saving the comment Manu Schwendener commentedI agree that the options for facet display need some fine tuning, taking into account the search scopes.
But I would _not_ want to see CDI results in a list after I filtered for a library.
As a workaround, you should be able to deactivate the forced choice
