    Pushing this for 2026: A quick win for institutional customization.
    Revisiting this from 2021 because the core issue has not changed. Every institution has different pedagogical requirements and frequently used material types. Forcing a one-size-fits-all "Most Common" list directly contradicts the flexibility Leganto otherwise offers. Allowing administrators to pin 3-5 custom material types to the top of the "Add Item" interface would be a massive UX improvement for academic staff and a huge administrative relief for the library.
