    If you add the MMS ID to your institution's base url, this will create the permalink. MMS ID is a field that you can add in a Physical Items analysis. Then you just have to get any permalink and replace the last 16 digits with the 16 digits of the MMS ID. Apologies if my wording isn't quite right - this is not my area of expertise, just something I muddled together.
