While testing Retention and Deselection workflows, we started using the "Item sequence for Weeding" configuration for the first time. This feature is valuable for colleagues planning deselection, who operate within the Collection Development workflow and assign future weeding dates to sets of items.

However, users reported a major usability issue: when a weeding date expires, there is no alert or notification (similar to a due-date alert). As a result, deselection tasks can be missed or delayed.

Request:
Add an alert/notification mechanism for expired weeding dates within the tasks list. This would improve task visibility, support timely actions, and increase workflow efficiency.
