  2. Match Custom style reference types to default drop-down list

We are rationalising our reference types on our custom style. In the citation style editor there is an option to delete reference types, which I have used. This means I have only set a custom for a dozen or so reference types.
However, when we import and edit references, the drop-down list of reference types does not match our custom style: it remains the default list. This will lead our users to select reference types that have not been custom-set to match our style guide and errors in our bibliographies.

  3. references page generation

Currently, the bibliography page generation doesn't work. It comes up with the loading symbol, but never loads. It was working originally, however the feature no longer works.

  4. Make it possible to upgrade to New RefWorks with the same RefID

Users who manage their references by RefIDs on the legacy RefWorks hope to migrate their data without changing the RefID number when upgrading to New RefWorks.

  5. Write n Cite update

The update on the Refworks is not really giving room to work with the references or edit the text. The previous approach was certainly good than having to copy and paste into another document just to retain control of your document. Can you please get us back to what it used to be?

  8. Unable to delete a shared Refworks Project by the person with who we have shared it

When we share our Refworks projects, the people with who we have shared it can delete that project, but when they delete it, the owner also lost.

When a Project is shared with another person, that person also becomes an owner. All people who belong to a Project have equivalent permissions, including deleting a Project. This is how the feature is defined. A Project owner can leave the project any time from the Manage Project page, and that will not affect access of other owners.

  9. Improving offline access to PDFs: Organize PDFs in dropbox in folder

It is great you provide offline access to references via dropbox. However, it would be very helpful if those references were organized in folders that matched the folders in refworks.

  11. Can you add the "International Journal of Renewable Energy Research" Citation?

This style does not seem to exist yet on Refworks, and it is required for one of my classes

  12. The ability to move references.

Be able to move references manually since once you put them in besides the hard sorting of authors and such there is no way to change order.

  13. Duplicate or copy a project

It would be great to be able to duplicate or make a copy of a project. That way, if you share it or make any changes, you can make a copy for sharing or editing and save the original project, which includes not just the records, but the folder structure, in case you make mistakes or need to go back to the original. Exporting the citations does not save the folder structure or save all the changes you've made specifically in RefWorks to a citation.

User may now duplicate, or copy, a Project by copying Folders in existing Project to a new Project: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Release_Notes/RefWorks_Release_Information/040_2024_RefWorks_Release_Information#Projects_Organization_Improvements

  14. Scrolling within the folder list causes dialogue box to open at wrong position

In the new Refworks, scrolling down on the list of folders and then clicking on the three dots causes a bug where the dialogue with the "Add subfolder...", "Rename", "Share folder", "Find Duplicates" and "Delete" options ends up at a position far below the actual cursor position (or where the folder is displayed on the list), and sometimes goes outside of the window, making it impossible to view without zooming out so much as to make most text ineligibly small. Conversely (/ similarly), sometimes clicking on a folder on the list ends up opening a folder that is displayed far…

  15. Error al Referenciar en Vancouver

Al referenciar con tipo de fuente TESIS, no genera correctamente la referencia. Por ejemplo debería tomar primero apellido del autor y luego inicial, pero hace lo contrario.

  17. New feature to link references

It will be very useful (at leas to me) to add a new feature that will allow to set a link between references, i.e.

    • is cited by
    • is review of
    • Is a rejoinder of
    • etc.

And the posibility to use that feature while building bibiographies to inser while citing a book where is reviewed, who has cited it,etc.

A search engine to follow that tree and navigate thru it would be useful too.

  18. Labels and comments

Anything in RefWorks is working properly during the last weeks. I am affraid that some relevant research information is missed. This would have to be inconceivable in a tool like this.
