Sentence Casing - stop words
It would be extremely helpful if RefWorks could have an easy to use function to specify certain words not to be changed when using 'Sentence Casing’.
If some frequently used words and names were built into RW e.g. America, China etc. so that user did not have to do anything for them, that would be even better. Possibly making that customisable by admin at a site level as well as by individuals would be even better.
Many thanks

Improve output of Japanese authors' names
Some of Japanese author guidelines requires authors to remove spaces between first and last name.
To remove spaces between first and last name, I need to edit records.
If I remove the comma between the first and last name on the Edit screen of record, the space will be removed when the reference list is output.
However, with this setting, in-text citations are not output correctly.
I want to output only the last name, but the full name is output. It would be great if both the reference and in-text citations could be output in the expected form at the…

Notification when Share folder is accepted
Send the folder Owner a notification or unflag my folder, when the Share recipient accepts the Share / views the folder.
Currently, we have no idea whether the recipient has Accepted the Share, or opened / viewed the folder. Ideally, the shared folder could be flagged as "share pending" until the recipient has accepted or viewed it.9 votes -
Fix Syntax Errors in BibTeX Export, Automatic Sync with Overleaf
Currently RefWorks' BibTeX export functionality makes a lot of basic syntax mistakes.
It does not automatically escape symbols such as '&' with '&' and '%' with '\%' as is required.
It also does not handle company authors well as it takes "Company, Inc." and just writes "author={Company, Inc.}" which is processed by BibTeX as "lastname, firstname". What needs to be done is "author={{Company, Inc.}}" and RefWorks does not do it automatically so I have to keep fixing it every time I export a RefWorks project's references into BibTeX.
Furthermore, RefWorks' doesn't even attempt to preserve the capitalisation of acronyms like…

Quick cite
On the old Refworks, one can easily search for multiple references across folders, insert them in the pop up and paste over to inside the body of the document being worked on, and then upload the document to format both the in-text citations and create a final reference list. However, this functionality appears lost in the new Refworks - the pop-up quick cite does not display all references but only 50 at a time, and when one needs to select multiple references to insert as citations and scrolls to the next page, the references copied on the previous pages disappear.…

Please bring back "My List" to the new RefWorks
Please bring back the "My List" function from legacy RefWorks. I realize you can create reference lists from folders or projects or if all the references you need appear on a single page (e.g., what you've just imported). But, what is missing is a way to create a temporary list of references you are working with without having to put them into another folder or project. For example, if you've written your paper and just need to add those last handful of references, there is no longer an efficient way to create that list while navigating between different pages and…

Enable generation and addition of an Open URL link to a custom citation style
We would like to be able to generate and add an open URL link to a custom citation style. In Legacy RefWorks, you are able to build a custom style with an Open URL but this is not possible in the new RefWorks because fields can not be defined in two different ways within the same style. We would like to use these URLs with our link resolver information when we are sending result sets to our patrons.

Add more severe authentication
We have institutions which have multiple campuses or branch office and use a common institutional email address domain.
If only one campus/office of a large-scale institution subscribes RefWorks, it needs to restrict to access or create new account from other places.
I think that to add the authentication by all of the following required items would be resolved:
- access to the unique URL
- enter the invitation code
- enter the institutional email address domain10 votes
