How can we improve RefWorks?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Search option for document in google doc tool by Ref ID

    In word tool as well as in google doc tool if I want to cite the reference using Ref ID search (which is good new idea) but not able to do it. So not useful due to this limitation.

  3. Compartir una carpeta de referencias con el enlace a la misma, para que pueda acceder quien lo tenga.

    Compartir el enlace permite que la persona acceda a las referencias, aunque no haga parte de la organización a la que yo pertenezco. Esto es ideal para cuando se realizan investigaciones con otras instituciones.

  4. Adding more citation styles

    Our users are requesting the addition of a new style : Pontifical Gregorian University (Italian) style to Refwork's list of supported styles.

  5. Make it faster

    For something that it paid for, my RefWorks is always moving REAL slow compared to other paid reference managers I've used (mainly EndNote). RefWorks seems to have trouble handling the 2,000+ references I've accumulated (and continue to accumulate) over my career.

    Thank you for your feedback. We have introduced improvements to optimize performance in RefWorks. Note, that performance is also affected by connection speeds, as RefWorks is a cloud-based service.
