In the Course Loader integration, there is an option to "On Rollover Copy Assignee." This same option should also be available for instructor‑initiated list rollover.

When an instructor rolls over a reading list, the existing assignee should automatically be copied to the new list. In addition, an automated email notification should be sent to the assignee to inform them that they have been assigned to the newly rolled‑over list.

For institutions who enable the feature, this would ensure consistent assignee handling regardless of rollover method while reducing the need for staff to track unassigned reading lists in the Alma task list.
