Request to have two different messages for lists in draft status and lists that have not yet been created
We have concerns regarding the error message displayed when someone attempts to access a list.
A single general message may not adequately address all situations.
We believe that having two distinct messages—one for lists in draft status and another for lists that have not yet been created—would help both students and instructors better understand the next steps they should take. Additionally, requesting a login for students when a list is in draft status could cause unnecessary confusion.
A login should only be required for instructors who want to fill in the list.
It is crucial for users and librarians to easily discern whether a list is in draft status, not yet created (as indicated in the Classic UI), or if the user is not registered in Alma and therefore cannot access the list. The choice to use a more generic message (e.g., same text matches more than one case) is a regression if compared with the Classic UI, whose error messages were more detailed.
