Display usage relevant to citation type in List Analysis
Student usage of a citation is only generated if a student interacts with a citation, such as by opening the citation in full view. For some citation types, this does not present a meaningful view of usage.
For example, for print citations, it would be more relevant to display number of loans for the print copies, rather than evaluating usage purely on how many times the full citation has been viewed. Usage for fields such as Student Full Text Views are also not relevant for this citation type.
Usage shown in List Analysis should either be relevant across all citation types or be tailored towards the citation material type, particularly in regards to differences between print and electronic.
The instructor analytics in the new UI displays number of loans for print items.
