How can we improve Primo?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Relais third-node adapter

    There should be a way to search consortium library ILSes using Metalib or a z39.50 third-node adapter. We are currently building a metalib quickset to federate search across the consortium. We hate relais' discovery service so we would like to keep users in primo. Currently, the relais link in the new UI is for known items. We would like to create a consortium based union catalog. Even better would be if this could get accomplished by daily automated harvesting within PCI (leaving d2d's web API to check availability and process the loan).     This idea has been closed as part of a cleanup process for ideas older than two years with fewer than 30 votes.

    This cleanup process is necessary to streamline our idea management process and ensure that the most relevant and impactful ideas receive the attention they deserve. If you still feel strongly about this idea, you may submit it via the NERS process.

  2. Increase number of citations that can be pushed to citation manager tools

    Our users would like to be able to send more than the current limit of 30 citations at a time to tools like Refworks and Easybib.
