    Agree 100% with this idea!
    We ran into this same problem within weeks of initial implementation of Digital Representations in Alma/Primo.
    Some Libraries have chosen to NOT use Alma Digital due to this severe shortcoming.

    There should be a feature in Alma Return Items that (optionally) allows a staff to do a "Fine Free Checkin/Return", on a case-by-case basis.

    Other systems allow for this. PLEASE implement.

    On a case-by-case basis, ALMA needs to be able to have a FINE-FREE Checkin. Your competitors have this feature. PLEASE get on it!!
