    Swinburne Library supports this enhancement.

    We have encountered a related issue arising from the same underlying limitation in the POL ↔ Electronic Resource relationship model.

    Alma currently allows staff to navigate from an Electronic Collection or Electronic Portfolio to the associated Purchase Order Line via the Acquisitions and License Information section. However, once staff move into the POL workflow there is no equivalent way to navigate back to the associated Electronic Collection or Electronic Portfolio.
    In practice, staff frequently move between:
    • Electronic Collections
    • Electronic Portfolios
    • Purchase Order Lines
    while investigating subscriptions, activation issues, vendor information and electronic-resource access problems.

    Because the relationship already exists within Alma, we would support any enhancement that improves bidirectional management of these relationships, including:
    • linking multiple Electronic Collections to a POL from within the order workflow;
    • visibility of all linked Electronic Collections and Portfolios from the POL;
    • direct navigation from the POL to associated Electronic Collections and Portfolios;
    • preservation of workflow context when moving between Acquisitions and

    Electronic Resource Management.
    We believe these improvements would significantly streamline electronic-resource management workflows and reduce repetitive searching across Alma modules.
