"Scholarly & Peer-Review" and "Peer-Review"
The filter "Scholarly & Peer-Review" and just "Peer-Review" are both in the "REFINE YOUR SEARCH" facet. It would be confusing when users want to search for peer-reviewed articles. It should be "Scholarly items" and "Peer-Review."
1 voteYour institution can change the labels or names on this facet currently. Just go into the Summon Admin Console, select “Translations”. If you use your browser search function, you can quickly find the text “Scholarly & Peer Review” and change it to whatever you would like.

Add 'Resource' to the facet menu
To narrow down the Summon result by the valuable resource (database), please add 'Resource' to the facet menu.
21 votesThere is a Database facet that should allow you to do this. Your institution might not have this activated on your search results page.
If this facet does not provide the functionality you desire, please add a new idea and provide more details (such as an example scenario). Thanks!

Add the option to hide the Widget Builder in hamburger menu.
We're concerned about having these widget builders on the public side.
We'd prefer to offer our faculty code for search widgets with more functionality for embedding in their course materials.
5 votesYou can turn the Widget Builder on or off in the Summon Admin Console. Go to Settings and at the bottom of the first screen of options, there is “Enable Widgets Link”. Switch this to “OFF”.

Add the word "Temporary" to the Saved Folder.
The message indicating this folder is temporary pops up for a few seconds (5 or so) and is only shown on the first tab open. Therefore if a user has more tabs open for research they may not know their items are temporary.
8 votesYou can go into the Translations tab in the Summon and change the text to whatever you’d like, including the addition of the word “temporary.”

support special needs users
Support special needs users by add new feature within Summon to help students such as Invert color: to invert the screen color contrast for people with difficulty perceiving colors.
customize text-to-speech output for blind people19 votesMost devices have built in support for color inversion or the ability to designate color schemes to meet an end user’s need. We also test our user interface for compliance with text-to-speech readers as well.
We strive for compliance with both VPAT and WCAG standards, and review our standing periodically. If you have feedback on our accessibility support, please open a ticket with our support team and we will address the issue as quickly as possible.

Insert Yewno into Summon Results Screen
Hi, I would like Proquest to include Yewno into Summon.
5 votesWe have worked with Yewno for common customers to provide support needed for configuring Yewno. To include Yewno on the Summon results page, an institution can embed this code in one of the custom panes in the Summon User Interface.
