I think this is an idea floated before, but it's come up again as feedback and I would like Ideas Exchange to revisit :)

Tags are not very visually different from the general colourscheme on Leganto; this makes them harder to pick out from the rest of the citation. Additionally, we use student tags for Importance (Essential/Recommended/Further) as part of our commitment to flexible and inclusive teaching. It would be really useful if we could pick colours for these tags a) to help students spot them more easily on the citations, and b) so we could colour-code for importance levels, thus giving students an extra visual cue for them when planning their work.
