Leganto currently integrates with the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) only for pay‑per‑use licensing. Many institutions, however, already hold a CCC Annual Academic License, requiring staff and instructors to manually check permissions in RightFind outside of Leganto. Integrating automated annual license coverage checks (via RightFind or CCC repertoire lookup) directly into the Leganto citation workflow would eliminate duplicate work, reduce errors, and surface clear copyright status at the point of citation creation. This would save time, improve instructor and staff workflows, strengthen copyright compliance, and better leverage existing CCC investments—making Leganto a more complete system for managing course readings.
