Currently the only way to change a citation file name is by downloading, renaming, and then reuploading renamed file, after deleting previous version. It would save a lot of time to be able to edit the file name directly in Alma, without having to download and reupload when using a specific name file convention.

The team that scans and uploads files is different to the reading list processing team and the file needs to be named correctly at a later stage after it's been uploaded. We also receive resource sharing files from partner libraries where we can't control how the file is named and need to rename the file after it is received.

The naming file convention is important to internal processes and for compliance. The ability to rename the file directly in the system would be helpful in streamlining our processes and creating a more efficient working environment.
