Multi-site list alerts for print items
We have 7 physical locations 6 of which have print items. We want to set up Leganto to automatically complete physical inventory when added by an instructor as we do not have a "course reserve" workflow or short loan process. In other words, if an instructor adds print to their reading list we are happy that it can be accessed by the students on the open shelves.
However, we are aware that instructors could add physical inventory that is located at one site for a course that is being delivered at another. We do not do inter-site lending even between the 4 sites at London for reasons of cost and administration. What we would like is for an alert to be generated if an instructor from one site adds physical inventory from another site to their reading list. That way we can check only those items where the students would not be able to access the item.
