How can we improve Alma?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Add "General Notes" at the collection, service, and portfolio levels to Analytics

    Please add the following note fields to Analytics:

    Electronic Collection:
    - General notes (multiple entries)
    Electronic Service:
    - General notes (multiple entries)
    Electronic Portfolio:
    - General notes (multiple entries)

    Why is this necessary?
    You can search for many fields in Alma itself, but not all of note fields can be exported from Alma. But this is particularly important for note fields!

    General Notes information is now available in Alma Analytics - E-Inventory subject area, for Electronic Portfolios.


    General Notes for Electronic Collections and Electronic Services will be available in Analytics in 2025 H2.
