    I agree that this should be more customizable.

    In Primo VE, it is part of the 'Links' section. It should be a separated section that can stay at the bottom of the full title display while we move the 'Link' section higher up.

    I consider this a bug and not a feature request.

    I'm really struggling with how to explain to our patrons what the different options in advanced search are, also somehow explaining that not all options work for all fields - and all of this in the label that they see in the pulldown list of options.

    So by now the tooltips exist. They really are not a solution in my opinion.

    - mobile doesn't have tooltips
    - if I activate 'starts with - call number' I have to either adapt the tooltip or suppress it

    (Same problem for the tooltips for the new 'is exact phrase' search).

    I agree.
    Tooltips are not visible on mobile.

    Also, the tooltip seems to have been rolled out by now, but only in English, and I don't remember having seen any information about it?

    I don't agree: patrons who only need the "Any" field have no reason to switch to advanced search.

    Patrons who take the step to advanced search are looking for something they couldn't find with a search in the "Any" field.

    This seems like a strange way of "solving" this to me, not least because tooltips are not visible on mobile.

    We already use the workaround of rephrasing the label to inform our patrons about this.

    'Starts with' should only be visible when it actually can be used.

    For the pre-filters under the search field in simple search:
    Configuration –> Discovery –> Labels –> Basic Search Pre-Filters Labels

    For advanced search:
    Configuration –> Discovery –> Labels –> Search Tile Labels

    For multilingual Primo VEs: switch the language above the table, save each change before you go to the next language.

    But be aware, with some Javascript knowlege and browser dev-tools, the login modal could be dismissed without login.

    Hi,

    It will be possible to configure the system (with a utomatic renew rule output parameter to say whether to send an email to the patron when renewal takes place.

    If emails are sent, they will be sent in an aggregated manner (single notice for all renewed loans)
