An error occurred while saving the comment Timothy Jackson commentedThe SUNY system would also like to be able to revert resource sharing requests to their previous status. Staff often ship lending requests or return borrowing requests by mistake, and the only way to fix these errors at this time is to complete the original request and then recreate the reqeust from scratch. This can be time consuming for staff, and it can also cause some user confusion.

The option to change hold to digitization request (and vice versa) will also be added
An error occurred while saving the comment Timothy Jackson commentedThe SUNY system would also like to be able to convert physical item requests into digitization requests. Since that functionality is not currently supported, please reopen this idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment Timothy Jackson commentedThe SUNY system would like to see the ability to configure a booking lead time added to Alma's booking functionality. This is one of the reasons the majority of our campuses are unwilling to use the booking feature.

An error occurred while saving the comment Timothy Jackson commentedHello, Moshe. Unfortunately, users often provide totally unrealistic needed by dates when they submit requests. If a user says they need the item the next day, they're essentially creating a reqeust that is guaranteed to be automatically updated to returned as soon as it's received at the borrowing library. In my experience, users will often pick up items even if they don;t arrive by the needed by date, so it would be very helpful to be able to manually override that automatic return.

Dear community, this idea was reviewed and accepted, below you can find the suggested design, please feel free to comment if you have further suggestion:
1. It will be possible to sort the interested users list using arrows. The hold requests will be activated as per the order in the interested users tab.
2. A check mark for ‘Loan to first interested user’ will cause the received item to be automatically loaned to the first interested user when the item is received.
3. It will be possible to print the list of users (in the proper order) when the item is received
Thanks,
Noam Fass | Alma product management teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Timothy Jackson commentedWould it be possible to allow libraries to select a hold location for an interested user at the time the order is created? Currently, the item is always placed on hold at the circ desk attached to the item's permanent location. This isn't always convenient for users, and it's particularly problematic if the circ desk attached to the item's permanent location doesn;t have a hold shelf. In those instances, the hold reqeust is never created, and the user never receivs the item.

Hi,
It will be possible to configure the system (with a utomatic renew rule output parameter to say whether to send an email to the patron when renewal takes place.
If emails are sent, they will be sent in an aggregated manner (single notice for all renewed loans)
An error occurred while saving the comment Timothy Jackson commentedCould we please get an update on this? The SUNY system is very interested in this fix. Thanks.

The SUNY system would also like to be able to run Analytics report on where resource sharing requests are coming from, so adding the source field to the borrowing requests subject area would be extremely helpful.
