Ability to break out of WebKit browser
We need to be able to leave the confines of the WebKit browser & use the standard defualt browser on the students device.
See the image attached, Our students are getting confused within their Office 365 Mail as to which is the button to click to go back to their Email inbox, rather than the button to go back to the main menu tiles on the app.
Doing this would also give more available space to the Email page or other external webpage, rather than always showing a CampusM branded title bar, back, refresh & share buttons.

Council Tax push notifications
As a user of the Bradford Council app, I would like Council Tax reminders to be included in the push notifications menu so that I can easily set up reminders to pay my Council Tax.
Currently Council Tax reminders may be set up using the Reminders menu, but our Council Tax department would like these reminders including in the push notifications - both in the set up screens when you install the app, and also in the settings>push notifications menu.
This would draw more attention to the Council Tax reminders function, which is something that would benefit all users as…

Combined toolbar and menu system for AEK, static content and external web pages
It would be useful to have a way to use toolbars like AEK toolbars and menus like for content pages, but include AEK screens, static content and external web pages together under a combined navigation system.
This could be implemented as an extension to the content menu and AEK toolbar systems, or it could be a new tile type with an improved, integrated navigation system.

AEK screen page in app manager
In the aek screen page on app manager, history should show an output of ALL versions.
So when you go to aek screens > select a screen > click history
you should be able to see all the version numbers, when they were published/last edited and by which user.7 votes -

Launch screen button - content quick view from app builder when selecting menu options
As an app content manager, I would like to be able to preview the content associated with a given menu option in the app builder, so that I don't have to switch to other screens to check what content is set up
On the app builder: https://appmanager.ombiel.com/app-builder
It would be great if when you click on a menu option, the menu on the right has a button that allows you to preview the pocket guide info or the AEK screen.

Display App version in Support emails
As a member of the IT support team, I would like to receive support emails that contain the app version, so that I can debug issues more effectively
When a user reports a problem with the app, the phone model is displayed so the iOS vs Android version can be distinguished however the app version is not displayed so if there is a user running an older version of the app it isn't obvious and that could be the cause of the issue or something which has been resolved in the newer version of the app so it would be…

Statistics for individual profile groups
As a member of the University leadership team, I would like to be able to have the insight data broken down to show the number of registrations per profile, so that I can have a better understanding of how the campusM app is being used
I have recently been asked by our University leadership team for statistics that show how many users have subscribed to each profile during any given period. At present this information is not available please could it be added.
For example when I look at the statistics on app manager for our Students profile it would…

Tagging for AEK screens and menu options
As an app content manager, when updating AEK screens and menu options I would like to see tags that provide details about the type of authentication used, so that I can easily identify whether the content I'm working on belongs in an SSO or LDAP profile
As a user of SSO on desktop and LDAP authentication on native apps we have to duplicate our AEK screens as we need subtlely different code in each. This has made use of App builder very error prone as it's not clear whether you're looking at an SSO menu tile or native auth. That…

Help/Hints for the News Feeds Initial Screen
As an app user, I would like to see a hint in the initial News and Event screen, so that it is clear that I need to choose the feeds I want to view using the Add/Remove option and I am not just presented with a blank screen if I haven't already selected a feed
When user first opens the News Feeds Menu Option in the app, there is an empty grey screen, which looks very big and very empty on iPad in particular, giving impression that something is not working withing the app.
It is not very clear that…

Isolating publishing in App Manager to User log-in
As an app content manager, I would like be able to publish only the content I'm working on, so that I don't accidentally publish unfinished content that other app content managers are updating at the same time
Currently publishing in the App Manager does not allow different users to publish in isolation of everyone else. The result is that if several people are working in the App manager at the same time whoever publishes first potentially forces all updates to be published regardless of readiness.

Export to Calendar
As an app user, I would like to be able to export a whole day or week to my calendar, so that I don't need to choose 'Add To Calendar' individually for each event
The 'Add To Calendar' inside the Timetable is a great feature, to increase this functionality it might be good to have an Export the Day or Export the Week to Calendar, to save adding each one. Although exporting it all would mean decreasing the user base, forcing the exporting of each individual slot annoys the user so a compromise might be good.
15 votesThank you for your idea and comments. After careful consideration, the Product Development team have decided that this feature will not be incorporated into the campusM roadmap. Instead, we are investing development time in enhancing the timetabling and calendaring services in the app, so student are more inclined to use the app on a regular basis.

Enable Android App to be moved to SD
As a user of a device with limited storage, I would like to be able to move the campusM app to the external SD card
Android - Move to SD
Details are here - http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/install-location.html
In summary advantage is as you state - disadvantage is that the running app will get killed if someone removes the sd card or connects their phone to their computer. Btw none of the items on the 'NOT' list apply to campusM.
13 votesThank you for your idea and comments. After careful consideration, the Product Development team have decided that this feature will not be incorporated into the campusM roadmap. With device developments continuing to enhance the baseline specifications for android devices, the need for this functionality is quickly disappearing. This coupled with the inherent risk and possible depreciation in performance resulting from use of a 3rd party SD card means we unfortunately must decline this request.
