Isolating publishing in App Manager to User log-in
As an app content manager, I would like be able to publish only the content I'm working on, so that I don't accidentally publish unfinished content that other app content managers are updating at the same time
Currently publishing in the App Manager does not allow different users to publish in isolation of everyone else. The result is that if several people are working in the App manager at the same time whoever publishes first potentially forces all updates to be published regardless of readiness.

Hi all,
Whilst realising this is a limitation within the current solution, it would considerable re-work of the current design, and is not considered feasible with the current version of App Manager. We hope however to encompass aspects of this through a more holistic redesign of App Manager in the longer term.

Hi,
It would also be more prudent to have a change set which needs to be published instead of going through based on user. A user can be doing a release for sprint A and sprint B and both of them release on a different day.

I agree. Giving users the ability to publish all content, completely dilutes the value of isolating content by users.

As an app content manager, I would like be able to publish selected Items only, so that I can preview a specific section while still working on other areas
Is there anyway of previewing before publishing or only publishing selected areas without using hide
For example we were working on a festival pocket guide root - with many sections and menus which we wanted to publish at a set date - but at the same time we needed to update general app content. I could not publish the genearl update as it would also publish the new festival pocket guide root (as once the root was created the hide option was no longer available)
