Overdue notices from Alma in Primo
In the mouse-over appearing in My loans above ‘not renewable’ a user sees all overdue notices that he/she has received for that specific item.
For instance when the user gets the fourth overdue notice he/she also sees the third and the second one in the small mouse-over text. For a better readability we’d like only the most recent notice to appear in the mouse-over.

Primo alerts - user defined frequency and digest options
Based on user suggestions, it would be helpful if, when users set themselves an alert for a saved search, they could choose the frequency with which these came through.
Some users might want them more/less than weekly.
Also, perhaps users could also choose to receive the alerts in a digest form: with the update for every search bundled into one email.

Allow Primo users to report inaccurate metadata on a record directly to Ex Libris
We've had several cases where metadata was incorrect in a Primo record. The user (in several occasions the author of the article) reported the issue to their library, who reported it to us (BIBSYS consortium), and we reported this to Ex Libris.
Once the issue was fixed, after quite some time, the feedback followed the same road, back to the user.
It would be more efficient if metadata issues could be reported directly to the instance actually able to correct them, which is Ex Libris.
The issue would be reported directly by the user in Primo/a salesforce case would be…

Custom location order in brief results list
Where there are multiple records for the same holding within our institution, we would like to configure the order of locations in the brief results. Patrons could then see the circulating items first, rather than non-circulating items, reducing confusion and wasted time.
This is similar to #32961133, "Ability to select which location appears first." The resulting Location Ordering Profile allows us to set a custom order within a single record, which is very helpful. But it does not solve the problem where there are multiple records.

Share on social media: add Mastodon and Bluesky
Share on social media from full title display:
Please add Mastodon and Bluesky as options.
Can't speak for Threads as that's blocked in Europe, but would probably make sense to add it at the same time.

Primo New UI - EBSCO API - filter out no-full-text Item
We have set up a mixed search results of Primo PCI and EBSCO API. In the Primo new UI, The search results are supposed to show only full-text available materials. But we found some result items of EBCSO API are without full-text. We would like to the results items without full-text from EBSCO API be removed in the new UI in a full-text search while the no-full-text item be shown after clicked "Expand beyond library collections" . See the attachment "PCI&EBSCIAPIMixingProblem.docx" for details

Show "multiple sources" in PCI records, instead of hiding the field
When more sources provide PCI with the description for the same bibliographic entity, in Primo Details tab no source is specified.
If the library doesn't have access to all the involved sources, the field is missing and no "View all versions" link is available.
A compromise could be to always show Source: multiple sources or something like that, instead of totally suppressing the field.1 vote -
Filter out the default search result titles with the status "Citation Available" which don't have full text available under PCI
We expect the default search results of PCI contain full text titles only. But we found there are result titles which don't have full text with the status "citation available" (e.g. in the collection RAMBI, http://www.lib.ouhk.edu.hk/primo-explore/fulldisplay?docid=TN_rambi000465453&context=PC&vid=ouhk&lang=en_US&search_scope=pc_gs_ebook_ebsco_scope&adaptor=primo_central_multiple_fe&tab=pga_tab&query=any,contains,RAMBI&sortby=rank&facet=domain,include,RAMBI%20-%20%D7%A8%D7%9E%D7%91%27%27%D7%99&offset=0). We hope the no-full-text titles be filtered out.

marcit loads of e-journals should have a peer-reviewed/open-access subfield
Since there is no sfx ideas exchange, I will post this idea here since there is no trigger/flag for open access or peer-reviewed as part of the MARCIt profile. This would be helpful for journal loads. Seems to me that if you're sitting on the article data, you might be able to flag the journal record within the marcit profile, no?
Thanks,

Ability to set the primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/ url to redirect to default view.
Currently the / url either errors out or redirects to alma. Since many users just go to the root url it would be great to have this redirect to the default view

Allow customer configuration of the types of links in view online section
We have finding aids that are not using linktorsrc because they are properly cataloged. However, we would like the finding aid link to have the same prominence as ‘view online’. Of course we could change the norm rules to include finding aids as linktorsrc, but there may be other reasons customers want the ‘view online’ block to appear that include add link, linktofa or other link category. I think the most flexible solution is to make this block configurable in back office.

an "I Want It" button
The Penn State library has an “I want it” feature in its catalog, in the search results. It struck me as very direct and to the point. When you click it, it prompts you to sign into their system but I assume it would take you to a request form. I don’t know why they hide it under that three dot icon. I would like to see in Primo, if possible, an “I want it” button, not buried in a menu but right next to every book title in the Primo search result. The idea being that clicking “I want…

Mask Patron ID
Currently, only the password is masked in the sign-in form in the new Primo UI and we'd like the Patron ID (username) to be masked in the sign-in form as well.
Thanks,

Don't pre-populate the email address in the Saved Search/Email records pop-up
Currently, in the new Primo UI, the email address is pre-populated in the Saved Search/Email records pop-up. We would like the email address field to be empty.
Thanks,
Ryan

Add wording to Advanced Search Box
Currently, unlike the Basic Search box, one cannot add wording in the Advanced Search box in the new Primo UI, like "Enter search terms", which is confusing as users don't know that they need to click in the first Advanced Search box to start searching. Even moving the cursor to the first Advanced Search box would help.
Thanks,
Ryan

Newspaper search featured collections autosearch should be optional
As currently implemented, clicking a Featured Newspaper collection link will "display all matching results for the selected category, From these results, users can then search within the selected category to narrow the search."
However, this can result in an enormous results set. As an example, we have a featured set that contains just two newspaper titles: the historic Los Angeles Times archive and the historic New York Times archive. Clicking the featured collection returns over 48 million results. There is nothing useful a patron can do with 48 million results.
Suggested alternative behavior: Upon clicking a Featured link, the search…
