Library opening hours - prolong the "valid to" field in bulk
It would be very helpful to have a possibility to prolong library opening hours in bulk. We have more than 40 libraries and now the only possibility to prolong library opening hours is to open each line with opening hours, save it and run the "Apply changes" job. With so many libraries with many lines for opening hours in the library calendar will be this change for many hours of clicking.

Library opening hours for more than 3 years
When setting standard opening hours in library calendar Alma automatically sets the field "Valid to" for 3 years. But the opening hours do not change very often. This setting also does problems by long term loans, because now the opening hours are valid to october 2024 but the library wants to loan documents to january 2025 (documents bought from some grants and the academic staff is working with these documents for a long time). Ability to add option to see if line has invoice to POL summaries
When looking at a list of POLs, it would be useful to see in the summary or be able to add to the customised summary view, if the item has been invoiced.

Allow request-type webhooks to be triggered only under certain conditions
We would like the ability to configure request webhooks such that they are triggered only when certain conditions are met. Request webhooks for patron physical item requests include the user’s primary ID and the title they have requested. This type of circulation information should in most circumstances stay within the library and not be shared with third parties. But it may be necessary to enable a third-party integration in order to provide needed services, such as a smart locker delivery service. Allow Access Rights Policies and Copyright to be applied to remote digital representations
Checking the "Remote" box when adding a digital representation causes the Access Rights Policy and Copyright fields to disappear, even when we choose to display the digital object in the Alma Viewer.
If the Alma Viewer is selected, we should be able to apply the same Access Rights and Copyright to remote files as we can to files stored in Alma. This is especially important as more CDL functionality is added to Alma.

Allow booking requests only on the quarter hour and half hour
If your booking resolution policies are set to "Minute", users can select any minute in the hour as a start and end time. We would like a configuration option that allows us to limit booking request start and end times to just the quarter hour and half hour.

Allow filtering and sorting on all columns in "In process items"
In the "In process items", some columns can be filtered (Process status, request filter, library) and some can be sorted but not all. It would be useful to be able to filter by "Modified by", "Modification date" and to sort by "Modification Date".

Allow the Improve the display of "Item availability" for serials/journals
When there are a lot of content in "Item availability", which is the case for some journals/serials, the display is hard to read. It would be useful to allow for css customization like in Primo.

Toggle Provenance Codes for Display
I'd like to propose an enhancement that allows provenance codes to be disabled/hidden instead of exclusively being deleted when they are no longer needed.
Currently, provenance codes can't be "hidden" from selection if they are no longer needed. Once a provenance code is not used, it can only be deleted and then any items with that code previously assigned are left with a single character from the code and "not listed".
We use provenance codes to note grant-funded resources, but once the grant is used up, we'd like to remove the provenance code option so it doesn't clutter up the…

Ability to run a job on items already marked lost.
We would like the ability to run a job on lost items from other institutions, to receive a special block. This block restricts the user from placing anymore request and also (do to an app we built) blocks their electronic access. It is quite effective in getting the patron to return items the institution would then be billed for.
The problem is a block placed on the item prior to it going lost is removed when the item is marked lost and we are not able to run a job on the lost items that would actually apply the block.…

add course name to the course tab on the user profile
At the moment the only columns available in the Course tab on the user profile is course code and section.
Course codes will often consist of a line of numbers so the option to add course name as a column would add great value.

Make it possible to activate a portfolio without making the the whole collection active
I often find portfolios in other collections that I do not have active. I activate it and then move it to our active collection. The collection it was moved from then is in our alma without active portfolios.

API access to Item's edit history
For rolling back changes in a batch of items, it would be extremely useful to have API access to the Item Changes that are reported in the History tab of each item record.

Display access rights' copyright statement when editing a representation
Optionally an access right policy in Alma can have a copyright statement associated with it.
When editing a representation in Alma, the existence of the copyright statement is not displayed to the user. The user can enter another copyright statement for the representation which overrides the one associated with the access rights policy.
I would expect that the copyright statement should at minimum, be displayed to the user so they do not have to guess if this is an access rights policy where they must also assign a copyright statement.

Make "Send Query to Patron" option available in other areas of Alma
The Send Query to Patron function found under Fulfillment - Resource Sharing - Borrowing Requests - More actions (on item) is a great tool for notifying patrons within a request without having to cancel the request to send a note. Can this be made available elsewhere in the system (e.g. Pick from Shelf, Patron Requests, Network Activity, etc.) for quick and easy access to the function?

Ability to combine two or more existing items into a kit without losing POL information
If there's a way to do this, I can't find it.
What I would like to have is to take existing/previously received items (presumably with their own barcodes) and then combine them under one barcode as a kit. In theory, you can use "Bond Items" to do this, but the problem is that you effectively lose your POL receiving info (as well as all other individual item info) from the combined items. In my organization's case, this can cause an issue for the auditing department if the is a question or issue involving one of the merged items since there…3 votes -
Add a field for Library URL to the Library details that can be used in Letters.
Hello,
Most of libraries have a separate website with all relevant information for patrons. In Patron facing letters in Alma it would be useful to have a link to this library website.
Currently, there is no dedicated field in library details configuration where such link could be stored and then passed to the letters.
Please add a dedicated field for library website in library details configuration and feed this field to the Alma Letters.

Block lenders from updating expired lending requests to shipped
Alma currently allows libraries to ship lending resource sharing requests even after they expire. This can occasionally create extremely confusing situations where the borrowing library receives multiple items from multiple libraries for the same lending request. Unfortunately, Alma completes both the borrowing and lending request when the lender who let the reqeust expire receives the item they shipped back from the lender. The only way to fix a problem like this is to delete the original reqeust at all three libraries and then create a brand new request. Can you please have Alma block any attempt to update a lending…
