Hello all,
While we are still working to reach a legal agreement with OverDrive to enable us to index their content in our CDI, we will be adding the OverDrive Magazine collections to our Knowledgebases.
Best,
Rael

We would prefer the remote storage location be prioritized as those requests are automated and can be ready for customers in a couple minutes as opposed to an employee having to go out to the shelves to pick the request.
According to a case I submitted to have this modified, "it seems to be outside the current scope of Alma to prioritize requests based on item location. For title-level requests, Alma chooses an appropriate item based on the several criteria (like availability, policies, remote storage configurations, pickup location), but Alma does not currently support prioritization based on specific user-chosen locations, or an institution-preferred location."

This would be a very valuable enhancement. We have one building with our Curriculum Library inside. They are one library according to Alma. When a user places a request for an item, it only gives them the option of our main library. It would be ideal if it would instead tell them which managing desk they should go to pickup their item.
