An error occurred while saving the comment Tom Kistell commentedI should have said as well, this would be very similar to the idea around updating calendars by uploading an Excel file: https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/10936566-calendar-management-update-calendars-by-uploadin

We are considering adding a field to the course record in Alma, reportable in Analytics, for the faculty/school. It could be used for reporting purposes but not for discovery purposes. In other words, you would be able to pull list usage by faculty/school, but end users would not be able to browse by faculty/school. Would it still be helpful?

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom Kistell commentedOne of the enhancement requests in NERS 2018 was on a similar theme of notifying staff when a lost item is returned, but through different means:
'Alert message when lost item is checked in' (5395) - Currently the lost item check-in message does not appear if no lost item replacement fee and refund policies of the lost loan fines have been configured. Request ability to configure Alma so that the lost item check-in message appears regardless of lost loan fines configuration.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tom Kistell commentedI have attempted to do as Moshe suggested and use the 'Override On Shelf Request Policy' functionality but got an error message: 'No items available for the request due to policy.' Also, there was an enhancement request related to this in NERS 2018: 'Enable staff users to override any TOU' (5179), which suggests it isn't possible at the moment.

We are investigating the options for enhancing the job reports as part of a general enhancement to the jobs UX, which will then allow gradually deploying report enhancements to the different jobs in Alma.

Dear community, this idea was reviewed and accepted, below you can find the suggested design, please feel free to comment if you have further suggestion:
1. It will be possible to sort the interested users list using arrows. The hold requests will be activated as per the order in the interested users tab.
2. A check mark for ‘Loan to first interested user’ will cause the received item to be automatically loaned to the first interested user when the item is received.
3. It will be possible to print the list of users (in the proper order) when the item is received

Currently, grace period can only be set in calendar days. An option to limit the grace period for Open days will be added.
Thanks,

This would still be really useful.
