BTAA consortium's Early American Newspaper Series collections from Readex / Newsbank
The Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) purchased a specific version of the Early American Newspapers collections from Ex Libris's established provider-partner Readex (also known as Newsbank). We thus cannot use the Early American Newspapers that are in the CZ at present, as they are not the versions of the collections that we purchased. We need the BTAA-specific versions to be loaded into the CZ.
The BTAA consists of 14 of the largest public research universities in the United States, with collectively hundreds of thousands of students. Ex Libris has loaded consortia-specific collections for other consortia, and Ex Libris has loaded BTAA-specific collections from another vendor (De Gruyter). Could Ex Libris please work with Readex to load the BTAA Early American Newspaper collections? Readex is able to provide the title lists for these collections.
We at Rutgers specifically need the BTAA versions of the following collections (which we purchased):
Newsbank Early American Newspapers Series 2
Newsbank Early American Newspapers Series 3
Newsbank Early American Newspapers Series 4
Newsbank Early American Newspapers Series 5
Newsbank Early American Newspapers Series 6
Newsbank Early American Newspapers Series 7
However, we suggest that Series 1 (and any other BTAA-specific collections that may exist) be loaded as well for the BTAA institutions that purchased them.
Hello,
The collections
NEWSBANK AMERICAS HISTORICAL NEWSPAPERS SERIES 2-7 BTAA CIC EDITION were created.
Kind regards,
Tamar

Hi,
After confirming with the provider, we are proceeding with the creation of collections 2-7.
There is no BTAA version for America’s Historical Newspapers Series I.
Kind regards,
Tamar
