Add 007 to MARC control identifiers for display and search normalization
This would enable normalization rules to target specific resource types.
In cases where MARC data may differ based on current practices (MARC 245 $c: Side B titles vs. Statement of Responsibility), we would be able to differentiate records that may contain uniquely catalogued data.

Give Us Feedback: control on which page the icon is displayed
We would like to control on which page the new "Give Us Feedback" tool icon (May 2022 release) is displayed.
We are using this tool only for reporting broken links. We need the icon only on the Full View of the search results, but currently, it must be displayed on all pages.
Actually, most of the feedbacks from our users have been sent by accidentally clicking the icon on the Brief View of the search results, Primo VE home page, etc.
So, it would be helpful if we could control on which page the icon is displayed.

"Save query" for zero results
Add the "Save query" option to zero-results pages (similar to how it already appears on results pages) for when you want to be notified of expected future results. For example, you might want an alert for a recently published article not yet in PCI, or an emerging topic that nothing has yet been written about.

[Primo] - add tag delivery/fulltext to local PNX , thus improving blended search and full text availability information
The feature "Expand My Results / Results with no full-text" allows to include in the search results PCI records with no full text. It relies on a pnx value in tag "fulltext" delivery section:
<delivery>
...
<fulltext>no_fulltext</fulltext>
</delivery>The problem is that <fulltext> tag / field is not available in the Normalization Rule for local records.
The consequence is for example that when we harvest data from our dpace institutional repository we may have fulltext, but sometimes we may have just metadata records. But without the delivery/fulltext field in the PNX we can't manage records with just metadata so that…

Add in-line display option for textual holdings and notes (866 a,z) in Get It section
The display of the 866 a (holdings) and z (notes) subfields as separate lines in Primo VE is confusing for users. We request the option to display the 866 subfields a and z in the same line in Primo.
For example, a journal has 2 866 fields, one of which includes "CD-ROM" in subfield z to indicate the format. The word "CD-ROM" appears in the third line, causing confusion about if this refers to the line above, or is a separate holding.Availability:
v.66 (1996)-v.85 (2015),
v.87 (2017) - v.88 (2018)

Ability to merge deduped records in Primo VE
In Primo VE, you can currently choose to display a preferred dedup record (in the full and brief display), either from Alma-P, Alma-E or Alma-D (or none, and the first record to show up in the result list will display).
We would like to add the option to merge all local records. This is the default behaviour in Primo classic.

Change behaviour of collection discovery for frbrized titles
At the moment collection discovery in Primo VE shows for frbrized titles only one entry, even if there are two entries added two the collection (print and electronic version e.g.). If the user clicks on the entry, he gets a record and not a list of versions as he does when clicking on an entry in the brief results list. This is confusing, because the user might think, the one record he found (print or electronic) is the only one available. The user is likely to overlook the rather small versions line.
I see to possible solutions:
(preferred) If two…

Privacy in patron letters
Currently, patrons receive detailed item information in patron letters. We would like to make it possible for patrons to turn off letters (such as when they do not want this detailed information living in their email accounts).
In testing, we found that the current 'Personal Details' configuration in Alma (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Product_Documentation/020Primo_VE/Primo_VE_(English)/060Library_Card_Configuration/Configuring_Personal_Details_Settings_for_Primo_VE) does not allow us to limit patron changes to ONLY the notification preferences.

Add the option to restrict PCI results for resources when only a physical manifestation of those resources exist in the library’s inventory
If we have a physical book/journal in stock (item status could be anything: lost / on loan / available etc.)
and we have PCI collections activated that happen to also include these titles,
then
Primo will display the PCI results for the electronic version of these Books + their chapters & Journals + their articles and present them as ‘Full text available’ with ‘View online’ tabs – even when we do not have access to the online version of the titles. This leads to an error message + makes for a confusing experience for staff and students. We understand from…

Adding reset button to the volume filter in the GetIt tab
The filter in the GetIt tab allows users to filter the display of the volumes by year, volume or description.
It would be helpful to add a reset button that will reset the values chosen and display all values available.
Currently, in order to reset the values in the fields chosen the patron must click on the arrow for the drop-down menu of each field (year, volume, description) and choose the value ALL23 votes -
Add 'Show more' - 'Show less' options
Where Primo displays significant amounts of metadata from a single record in search results and the 'Details' section (such as very long lists of authors / subjects or very detailed summaries, contents notes, etc.), it would be useful if the text being displayed was truncated and options to Show more/less were provided for the user.

Primo Registration Service collections should be editable by Ex Libris staff
As a discovery librarian I would like the Primo Registration Service (Collection Activation) to be editable by Ex Libris staff so that resources incorrectly set as collection-level resources could be reset to Subscription (Linkresolver) level. This would mean large numbers of false positive search results in Primo UI could be reduced.
Background: the Oxford Research Encyclopedias collection has been set up in Primo Registration Service as a collection-level resource and delivers Primo search results for every title in the collection, whether subscribed or not.
It includes 27 separate encyclopedias on diverse subjects (we have only 2 titles).
These are new…

Syndetics Unbound on Brief Results
Syndetics Unbound enrichment elements can now be displayed on the search results pages of various discovery systems, but not Primo.
Providing this integration would better showcase Unbound's elements which are very popular with users but are somewhat hidden on the full display page.

Streamline favourites by adding the ability to create labels from the item.
It would be great if once you clicked the add to favourites button for an item you were either presented with a "Would you like to add a label" option, or the ability to add labels/tags from the ellipses menu, rather than having to go to the favourites menu.

Ability to reduce limit for number of links in "View It"
Ability to reduce the limit for full text links in "View It"
At present, the limit for links in "View It" is set to 25, see: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Knowledge_Articles/View_It_is_limited_for_25_resources
However, it is not possible to reduce the number and lower the limit (as it was possible in the SFX environment). We would like the ability reduce the limit for links in the "View It" section of a Primo record.
