We are investigating the options for enhancing the job reports as part of a general enhancement to the jobs UX, which will then allow gradually deploying report enhancements to the different jobs in Alma.

Hi,
Of course ! We will add a job that will be able to run on a set of user records and purge them, using standard validations (such as no existing loans, fees).
Thanks !
An error occurred while saving the comment Joe Montibello commentedI agree with the others, this would be a very helpful enhancement. It's a terrible experience to set parameters for a purge without being able to see what the results are, and then kick it off knowing that only *after* the job completes will you be able to see if you purged the right people.
Lots of people can run sets without the ability to do a mass purge, so this enhancement would also mean that another staff member could figure out who they wanted purged, create a set, and then just ask the User Administrator to purge based on that.

Hi,
This is to update that this issue is still not planned to be developed in the current road map. We will continue to evaluate it for a future release.
Therefore we are keeping this under "Under review" status.
Best regards,
Yael.

Dear all, we are currently looking into the possibility of a re-design of the quick cataloging functionality - we will take this request into consideration as part of this future change.

Hi,
It will be possible to configure the system (with a utomatic renew rule output parameter to say whether to send an email to the patron when renewal takes place.
If emails are sent, they will be sent in an aggregated manner (single notice for all renewed loans)
An error occurred while saving the comment Joe Montibello commentedAny idea when this planned enhancement will be released?

I wouldn't think that the change Moshe suggests would be very helpful here. Figuring out a percentage that would work for multiple different hourly loan values might be tricky, but most of all it would make it hard for staff to know right away when courtesy notices are expected to go out. Anything that makes it hard to predict what the system will do makes it much harder to troubleshoot when something goes wrong (whether it's a system problem, human error, or just the perception that "this isn't happening the way I expect it to").
Just my two cents' worth. Take care,
