The 'Claimed Returned' action will be available for lost loans. It will change the loan status to 'claimed returned'.
A customer parameter will determine whether the change to claimed returned should trigger a 'Find Item' action (and refund the lost item fees) + change to 'claim return', or only change to 'claim return'.

Hi,
It will be possible to configure the system (with a utomatic renew rule output parameter to say whether to send an email to the patron when renewal takes place.
If emails are sent, they will be sent in an aggregated manner (single notice for all renewed loans)

An error occurred while saving the comment Amanda Pippitt commentedAgreed. Patrons are getting confused by some of the entries they are seeing in this feature.
For example, right now if I look up Beethoven, the highlighted reference entry is in an Encyclopedia of Genetics, Genomics, Proteomics, and Informatics, when I would much rather users be directed to the New Grove Encyclopedia of Music and Musicians.Amanda Pippitt supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Amanda Pippitt commentedThis would be helpful for us as well. We have had patrons from other libraries call because they are frustrated by not being able to renew an item loaned to them by us. When we look at their record, they are expired in our copy of their account. If I look them up at their home institution, I find that they are still current patrons and not expired at their home library, and therefore should be able to renew things, but can't because of the process required to update the local copy of their record in our system. Patrons shouldn't have to be calling various libraries to troubleshoot these types of problems, and staff at libraries shouldn't have to go through extra work to update records this way.

Hi all,
We would like to update that this is planned to be developed in the Primo Next Discovery Experience User Interface.
More details on the new interface plans can be found here -
Therefore we are changing the status of this idea to "Planned".
Best regards,
Yael.
An error occurred while saving the comment Amanda Pippitt commentedYes, please. Especially as more and more loans from different libraries in our very large system are made, more and more names of libraries will be added to the list in their account to confuse the patron. Having all loans and all requests in one tab each would be wonderful (especially the requests, as the system picks which available library to get something from, not the patron...how are they supposed to know without browsing through each library option which library something has successfully been requested from?)

Any status updates on this change? Patrons appreciate the auto renew function, but also want to know when it happens. Otherwise, some forget that they even have our items (especially those with longer loan periods).
